  • Training facilities help the National Guard respond in times of crisis.

The men and women of the 201st Red Horse Squadron are always at the ready. These specially trained citizens respond to calls for help from Pennsylvania’s governor during state emergencies or from the president in times of crisis. The new facility at Fort Indiantown Gap supports their training and operations, helping them respond to emergencies 24/7.

What We Did

Gannett Fleming provided architectural, structural, civil/site, geotechnical, mechanical, and electrical engineering design services. Built on a five-acre site with a secure perimeter, the facility houses a weapons vault, training classrooms, a testing laboratory, and locker rooms. It also includes areas for operations, engineering, readiness, combat arms training, logistics, medical, and communications, ensuring that the squadron has the resources it needs to be at the ready.
