(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, recently awarded scholarships to family members of two employees.
Jenna Rosencranz, daughter of Mark Rosencranz from the Valley Forge, Pa., office, and Timothy Rozmus, son of Gary Rozmus from the Locust Valley, N.Y., office, were selected as winners of the 2009 Gannett Fleming Scholarship Program. Each student will receive $1,000 toward their education.
Jenna is student at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa., majoring in biology with a healthcare study minor. Timothy, a 2009 graduate of Northport High School in Northport, N.Y., will attend Fordham University in Bronx, N.Y., where he plans to major in business management and marketing.
The Gannett Fleming Scholarship was created to recognize the children and grandchildren of the firm’s employees who show exceptional leadership and character. The winners were chosen by a panel of non-partisan judges based on their answers to two essay questions, their most recent school transcripts, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation.
