Global infrastructure firm Gannett Fleming, Inc. has named Kevin Switala, GISP, to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, he will be responsible for providing strategic technical leadership and oversight of Information Technology Services, a division of Gannett Fleming.

Prior to his appointment as CTO, Switala was a vice president of GeoDecisions®, Gannett Fleming’s geospatial technology division. GeoDecisions provides information technology and geographic information systems (GIS) solutions to clients in an ever-changing world. By pushing the boundaries of GIS, GeoDecisions clients can plan strategically, increase productivity and efficiency, and achieve success. He managed the overall division operations, provided oversight of business development and delivery for the division’s federal and international markets, and directly managed many innovative geospatial solutions projects.
Switala has more than 18 years of experience with Gannett Fleming, and holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental design from Delaware Valley University and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
