Success Leads to Expansion of Gannett Fleming’s Canadian Team

Gannett Fleming’s Transit & Rail Global Business Line has won exciting new projects and aligned a team of thought leaders in Canada to bolster continued growth.

“Gannett Fleming’s selection on numerous Metrolinx, Toronto Transit Commission, Ontario Ministry of Transportation, and TransLink projects has contributed to our tremendous growth,” said Bryan Mulqueen, PE, an executive vice president and the board of director’s member responsible for Gannett Fleming’s Canadian portfolio and the Transit & Rail Global Business Line. “Gannett Fleming is building its offerings in Canada across all of our business lines, notably earth sciences, construction services, DOTs/tolls, facilities, management consulting, and transportation operations. Additionally, transit and rail is growing its teams in Toronto and Vancouver.”

As a result of this expansion, the team members listed below have assumed new leadership roles.

  • Scott Sibley, PE

    Scott Sibley, PE, senior vice president, project manager, and project principal, now serves as the regional director for the business lines that support transit and rail in Canada. He leads the Gannett Fleming Canadian staff not assigned to transit and rail, enabling the continued success of all practices in Canada. Sibley has more than 35 years of experience and has worked on the Metrolinx Electrification and the Evergreen SkyTrain Expansion.

  • Andrew Gillespie, PE, PEng - Gannett Fleming

    Andrew Gillespie, PE, PEng, a vice president and transit & rail client and program development leader, is now also the transit & rail operations manager in Canada. In addition to working side-by-side with Sibley, Gillespie coordinates activities for transit and rail systems, facilities, and client and program development. He will also direct marketing, recruitment, and operations, and is the Gannett Fleming lead for the Metrolinx Electrification.

  • Scott Duggan, PEng - Gannett Fleming

    Scott Duggan, PEng, transit and civil senior program manager, is now also part of the client and program development leadership team in Toronto. Duggan brings more than 25 years of transit and rail experience in the public and private sectors to this role. He led the engineering efforts for the Metrolinx Electrification and served as the project manager for the planning, design, and procurement of the $1 billion Finch West Light Rail in Toronto.

  • Saulius Fidleris, PEng - Gannett Fleming

    Saulius Fidleris, PEng, is a principal engineer and project manager who continues to enhance client relationships in Vancouver, British Columbia, building upon Gannett Fleming’s reputation as an industry-leading, multidisciplinary consulting engineering company. He has worked on the recent TransLink Millennium Line Evergreen Extension and Operations Control Centre projects, and has worked on every TransLink SkyTrain line project since 1985.

  • Eric Reese - Gannett Fleming

    Eric Reese, a vice president and Transit & Rail Global Business Line business development leader, provides leadership that defines and builds the firm’s strategy for expansion into Canada. He leads the implementation of best practices for client service and capture management, working closely with Sibley and Gillespie. Reese brings more than 15 years of strategic experience and is a member of the Leadership American Public Transportation Association Class of 2019.
