Gannett Fleming Names 11 New Senior Associates

(Harrisburg, Pa.) Recognized as demonstrated subject matter experts who understand and respond to the needs of clients while upholding the firm’s values, 11 Gannett Fleming employees recently received the designation of senior associate:

  • Thomas G Bice - Gannett Fleming

    Thomas Bice, PE, is a vice president and Roadway Business Line leader for Pennsylvania. An industry leader with more than 30 years’ experience, he oversees a diverse and talented group of professionals, providing technical leadership, client engagement, and project delivery for transportation design and management projects. Bice earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
  • Scott Burch - Gannett Fleming

    Scott Burch, PE, based out of the Jacksonville, Florida, office, is a vice president and Southeast area manager, Geotechnical, Dams, & Hydraulics. A 30-year industry veteran, he leads engineering design, analysis, investigation, and testing for dams, water resources, and soil-structure interactions. Burch performs planning and permitting, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, preliminary and final design services, and construction management services. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Engineering in geotechnical engineering from the University of Florida.
  • Jeffrey Byorick - Gannett Fleming

    Jeffrey Byorick, PE, is a senior electrical project engineer, project manager, and supervisor in the Electrical Group. He is based out of the Marlton, New Jersey, office, and has nearly 20 years of experience in design and quality assurance for power and lighting systems for roadways, parking lots, toll plazas, utility facilities, and railroad stations. Additionally, he designs electronic toll collection systems, intelligent transportation system facilities, and fiber optic systems. He earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering science from the College of New Jersey and a Master of Science in engineering from Rowan University.
  • Shane Cambell - Gannett Fleming

    Shane Campbell, PE, is a senior transportationmanager with 20 years of experience, all at Gannett Fleming. He leads the Roadway Department in Columbus, Ohio, and manages highway and Intelligent Transportation System projects. Shane has a diverse resume of transportation planning and design, including alternative delivery. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Ohio University and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University.
  • Ahmed El-Aassar - Gannett Fleming

    Ahmed El-Aassar, Ph.D., PE, ENV SP, brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as vice president and environmental acoustics manager. El-Aassar leads the transportation noise, vibration, and air quality team and is responsible for business development and all technical phases of acoustical analyses including noise and vibration monitoring, impact and mitigation analyses, and noise barrier design. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, he earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Cairo University, Egypt; a Master of Science in water resources management from The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom; and a Master of Science in environmental engineering and a Doctorate in environmental engineering from the University of Central Florida.
  • Anthony Elberti - Gannett Fleming

    Anthony Elberti, PE, is a senior process engineer and project manager based in the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, office. During his more than 20 years in the field, he has provided complete design services, including proposals, design, evaluation, permitting, project management, and construction services for water and wastewater treatment plants and systems for municipalities, municipal authorities, and private clients. Elberti earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in water resource management from Villanova University.
  • Matthew Gibbons - Gannett Fleming

    Matthew Gibbons, PE, is a traction power engineer, who is responsible for designing distribution and traction power substations, as well as working with field services during the installation of various systems-related equipment, including bug and stinger, wayside power, and supervisory control and data acquisition systems. Gibbons works directly with major transit and rail clients and has successfully delivered multiple design-build projects. With more than 10 years of experience, his additional responsibilities include systems integration and coordination, electrical circuitry design, medium-voltage distribution and protection, device wiring, and direct-current control power and distribution. He is based in the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, office and earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware.
  • Huzefa Irfani - Gannett Fleming

    Huzefa Irfani, AIA, is the Architectural Practice leader and a 30-year industry veteran. Based in the New York office, he manages multifaceted architectural projects from design through construction. Irfani has a proven record of resolving complex problems and exceeding the expectations of both clients and project teams, successfully meeting the challenges inherent in the design of infrastructure and flood mitigation projects. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture in architectural design from the New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Trent Park - Gannett Fleming

    Trent Park, GISP, CSM, is a senior vice president with GeoDecisions®, Gannett Fleming’s geospatial technology division. Based out of Richmond, Virginia, his experience encompasses more than 20 years in spatial technologies and management, with an emphasis on conservation, transportation, and real estate analysis. Additionally, Park specializes in implementation planning, the systems development life cycle, and cartographic design. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in historic preservation from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
  • Paul Pittari - Gannett Fleming

    Paul Pittari, PE, is a vice president, senior project manager, and area manager with approximately 30 years of experience. He provides oversight of various construction management, program management, and design contracts for projects with major area transportation agencies. Additionally, his duties involve close coordination with clients; providing or reviewing programs, plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals; supervising personnel for each assignment; overseeing staff development; and preparing and presenting recommendations to various stakeholders. Based out of the Piscataway, New Jersey, office, he earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Manhattan College.
  • Amber Saltarelli - Gannett Fleming

    Amber Saltarelli, MCIP, RPP, PMP, is a Gannett Fleming Canada ULC vice president, senior environmental planner, and Environmental Management Business Line lead for Canada. She is based out of Toronto and specializes in environmental assessment, planning, and project management. Using her 15-year industry experience and knowledge, Saltarelli works effectively with clients, regulators, stakeholders, and the public to successfully address challenges and complete complex projects within demanding timelines. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in geography from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in environmental management and assessment from Niagara College Canada, Ontario.
