Recognized as a master of design-build best practices by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), Dan Hart, PE, has earned the Designated Design-Build Professional™ certification. Hart serves as a vice president and regional office manager of the company’s Orlando, Florida, location, where he is based. He also oversees the firm’s construction engineering and inspection interests in Florida.
The DBIA certification demonstrates the commitment to design-build done right. These design and construction professionals possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire design-build process, from project procurement through post-award. Three to six years of substantial design-build work experience is required, in addition to the successful completion of coursework and a formal examination covering all aspects of design-build delivery.
Hart holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering and a master of science in geotechnical engineering from the University of Florida. He is a registered professional engineer in Florida and North Carolina. Hart serves as chairman and is on the board of directors of the Design-Build Institute of America, central Florida chapter.
