For the fifth year in a row, Gannett Fleming ranks among the giants of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering industry. Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine’s 2014 MEP Giants list ranked Gannett Fleming at 40 out of the top 100 firms, a jump of 21 spots from last year’s list.

The MEP Giants list compares firms based on MEP design revenue. Gannett Fleming reported MEP design revenue of $24 million in 2013. Total MEP design revenue of all MEP Giants was $6.38 billion.

Projects that contributed to Gannett Fleming’s MEP revenue include a heating and cooling plant and distribution system for Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and a design-build electrical substation replacement for Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Consulting-Specifying Engineer is a monthly trade publication that serves the mechanical and electrical engineering industry. In addition to MEP, the magazine covers consulting engineering subjects, such as lighting, fire and life safety, and controls engineering.
