Gannett Fleming earned a spot on Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) magazine’s 2014 Top 40 Electrical Design Firms list. The magazine ranked Gannett Fleming No. 13, a jump of seven spots compared to the firm’s rank of No. 20 in 2013.
The list compares firms based on revenue specifically related to electrical design work in 2013. Gannett Fleming reported electrical design revenue of $19.5 million, a 68 percent increase from 2012. Transit projects, arc flash study programs, and an expansion into the power utility market contributed to Gannett Fleming’s electrical design revenue. Total electrical design revenue of all 40 firms on the list was $1.8 billion in 2013, up from $1.3 billion the previous year.
“Gannett Fleming is pleased to have improved our position on the EC&M list under changing market conditions. We are working to expand our electrical services to better serve our clients,” said Brian Seip, PE, Electrical Practice manager based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
EC&M is a monthly publication that delivers technical information to 130,000 electrical professionals.
