Casado Joins Gannett Fleming as Southeast Region Director

(Miami, Fla.) Luis Casado, PE, has joined Gannett Fleming as Southeast Region Director and senior vice president. In this role, he is responsible for the overall financial, operational, management, and administrative performance of eight Southeast Region offices, including locations in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, Tampa, and West Palm Beach, Florida; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Memphis, Tennessee. 

Casado brings more than 24 years of experience in which he has led some of the most complex infrastructure projects across the southern U.S., and Central and South America. His professional portfolio includes projects completed for clients in the water, earth science, construction services, and GIS markets.

Casado earned a master of science in civil engineering, and a bachelor of civil engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. A dedicated member of the community, Luis is currently the past president of the Miami-Dade Architects and Engineers Society.  He also served on the advisory board of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and was active on the Environmental Advisory Committee for the City of Doral, where he previously served as chair.
