Sharon Berger, JD, CCM, has joined Gannett Fleming Engineers and Architects, P.C., as vice president and project executive of the Construction Services Business Line. She will leverage her knowledge of the New York metropolitan area’s rail, infrastructure, and vertical construction markets to grow the firm’s construction services offerings.
“Sharon and I have a long history of collaborating on many successful projects in New York, so I’ve seen firsthand the importance she places on client satisfaction,” said Nick Dandolos, CCM, New York area manager of construction services. “Her experience gleaned from nearly 20 years spent in management positions in the public and private sectors has given her a unique perspective that will position Gannett Fleming for further success in New York.”
Berger led successful, multimillion-dollar projects for clients such as the New York City Transit Authority, the New York City Department of Design and Construction, the New York City Housing Authority, the New York City Mayor’s Office of Housing Recovery Operations, and the New York City School Construction Authority. Her extensive knowledge includes work with local, city, and state elected officials as well as federal coordination with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This includes on-call construction management services, environmental consulting services, development of technical specifications and standard operating procedures, campus security design and construction, sustainability and resiliency implementation, and general contracting.

Berger earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial systems engineering and a Bachelor of Science in electronic media arts and communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She earned her Juris Doctor and a certificate in environmental/construction law from Pace University. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Committee on Construction Law of the New York County Lawyers’ Association, the Construction Committee of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, and the Construction Management Association of America.
